What Inspired the Creation of Christian Leadership Academy Yaounde
Christian leadership Academy Yaoundé is borne from the vision of its founder Bishop Angela Acha Morfaw who also serves as the president of the administrative counsel of the institution. She has that God inspired vision and compassion to reach out to the poor or needy and provide resources that can create positive impact to bring relieve, comfort and empower low income women and children to reach their potentials.
The Creation of Christian Leadership Academy Yaoundé is birth from her humanitarian services that she has been offering to the needy in the community at the following levels:

Provision of Food Items to the Needy
It has been a custom every December, for more than 20 years now that Bishop Angela Acha Morfaw has been providing food items for the needy around her community to assist them have food and join the rest of the community during the celebration of both the Christmas and New Year feasts.
Potable Water Supply
It was observed that only people who could afford had access to portable water and a majority who are the poor or low-income earners did not have access to portable water. Funds were raised, and a boll hole was constructed to provide water to everybody in the community.
Provision of Didactic Materials to Young Students
It is a custom for about 20 years now that the founder of CLAY has been providing basic school needs for children of low-income earners in the community every back to school season in August. School needs as textbooks, exercise books, and writing material are often sealed in packages and handed to young children with a word of encouragement to boost them work hard in school and succeed to break the barriers of poverty.

Award of Scholarships
At the end of every school year students that perform excellently in their end of year exams often rush to cheerfully present their results to the Bishop. A list of students with excellent performance is often made and scholarships are awarded to each of them according to their various school needs for the following school year.

Several scholarships have often been granted to other identified students out of the community who expresses the need to foster their education but do not have the finances. A good number of students from low-income backgrounds or victims of crises have benefitted from her sponsorship. Some of the students have obtained certificates, University degrees and are now working.

The creation of Christian Leadership Academy is borne out of this compassion to reach out to the poor and assist them develop their potentials for their personal benefits, their families and communities as expressed in our motto: << Equipping Servant Leaders, Building Communities>>

CLAY is not just an academic institution but a foundation that assembles and provides the resources to assist people acquire skills, develop their potentials and build their communities.
It is from this narrative that is committed in providing the following services to the community.
Sponsor A Child and Impact the World
Considering our observation that they are many children with very excellent academic potentials in our community but who drop out of school because they lack financial backings or support, CLAY opens up its doors to donors or its partners to provide financial support to sponsor one or a number of students according to what the donor or partner can offer. ClAY manages the resources to train and follow up the students to succeed and achieve their dreams.

Make a Disciple and Win Many Souls:
It has been observed that they are many devoted Christians in the community who have a calling to serve God but have not got the financial means to train themselves by enrolling into any theological college or school of leadership and ministry. CLAY opens its doors to its partners to provide the financial support for one or more students so that anyone identified with a calling can be trained in our institution and create more impact in their ministries.

Organization of Capacity Building Seminars
One of our commitments at CLAY is to organise capacity building seminars in domains that we believe will solve existing problems so as to equip the population with knowledge and skills that will enable them to develop their potentials so that they can meet their moral social and economic needs.
